Part 2 of the 4chan GTAVI AMA with new details

Decided to make another post as the "leaker" allegedly had another AMA on 4chan (taken down again) where he clarified a few things that were misinterpreted and also decided to reveal more things about the game. I decided to clarify a few things about my last post as well as some people seem confused about a few details that I mentioned.
Credits to u/Elena_xoxo for bringing the second AMA to light in a post in the GTA6 subreddit and also u/roughpreference991 for the screenshots of the AMA. The archived version of the first AMA can be found here. Again, take it with a huge grain of salt because of it being a 4chan leak and no way to know if both the AMAs are done by the same person.
This time around the leaker comes with a bolder claim about the credibility that they have been working at R* since 2004 and is primarily a developer. The leaker claims that they know the staff in every area of the dev team. The leaker mentions multiple times to capture the thread and 99% of it will be confirmed "sooner than you think"(Of course, this does not prove shit but could be interesting in retrospect).
Now to jump into the details of the second AMA:
Again I can't stress enough to take all of this with a huge grain of salt as a lot of details could easily be educated guesses, there is no way to even know if both the AMAs were done by the same person and the credibility itself but had to compile it for my Reddit peeps.
I also wanted to clarify a few things from my last post as well:

Rivers Casino celebrates 10 years with Frankie Valli submitted by Dr_GIR to Triblive [link] [comments]

Who killed notorious 1940s gangster Benjamin ‘Bugsy’ Siegel, the father of modern Las Vegas? Was it another mob boss? The lover of his best friend's wife? One of the men he was embezzling money from? His Mafia spy girlfriend? His own bosses? The possibilities are endless—and puzzling.

(Note: be warned, kind of long background info here, but I think it’s needed)
As far as interesting lives, few can beat Benjamin ‘Bugsy’ Siegel. Born February 28, 1906 in Brooklyn, New York, Siegel came from a poor Jewish family. Before he was even twenty, he’d established a profitable protection racket and a lengthy rap sheet, including armed robbery, rape, and murder. Siegel had connections—he was childhood friends with Al Capone and familiar with many of the well known New York City mobsters of the day—and he also had a taste for violence. Soon, he’d established a small mob specializing in hits for the numerous bootleg gangs of the time with Meyer Lansky, a fellow mobster. His violence and short temper led some to say he was “crazy as a bedbug,” giving him his famous nickname ‘Bugsy,’ which he even more famously despised.
Siegel was making money, which he was happy to flaunt, but he wanted more. He carried out several hits for Charles “Lucky” Luciano, and eventually formed Murder Inc. with his associates, establishing himself as a skilled hitman for the National Crime Syndicate, an organization of mob families. But Siegel was already making enemies, and several assassination attempts were made on his life, some of which came very close to being successful. So, it was time to move out west.
In California, Siegel helped establish gambling rackets, drug trade routes, and prostitution rings. His star was rising outside of the Underworld too, and in addition to the numerous politicians and police on his payroll, he befriended stars like Cary Grant and Clark Gable. Incredibly, while in Italy with a socialite in 1938, he met Hermann Goering and Joseph Goebbels, whom he immediately disliked and offered to kill. The offer was declined by his lady friend. Yet Siegel was not always looked upon fondly by the upper echelons of Hollywood; he borrowed exorbitantly from celebrities, knowing he would never be asked to pay it back, and began to develop extensive plans to extort movie studios. After several trials and acquittals for failed and successful hits, it was time to leave California.
Siegel’s next stop was Las Vegas where, in 1945, he purchased and developed the Flamingo Hotel & Casino, the first luxury hotel on the Vegas strip. As you might imagine, that was expensive, and over the course of its construction, costs were equivalent to over $61 million in today’s money each year. Siegel’s checks were bouncing, and many of the locals felt threatened by him. Mob bosses were beginning to lose patience with Siegel too, and he was refusing to report on business, claiming he was running the California Syndicate himself. For now, they left him alone—he'd been valuable in the past, after all.
The Flamingo Hotel was a dismal failure, and people—very powerful people—were starting to get tired of waiting for the promised money to materialize. By 1947, it was gradually turning around—with the help of Meyer Lansky, now in Vegas—but for most, it was too little too late.
Death:
On June 20, 1947, Siegel was gunned down in the Beverly Hills home of his sometimes-girlfriend Virginia Hill. He was 41. Somewhat suspiciously, Hill had taken an unscheduled flight to Paris the day (or by some sources, week) before. As Siegel sat reading the newspaper with associate Allen Smiley, an unknown assailant fired with a .30 caliber military M1 carbine through the window, striking Siegel many times (NSFW). Two shots hit his head, with one passing through his right cheek and the other his nose. Though he was not hit directly through the eye (NSFW), a bullet-in-the-eye death became a popular trope in Mafia media, including in the Godfather, where a character based on Siegel is murdered in the same manner.
The death was covered extensively in the media, which portrayed Vegas as a bastion of sin and mafia activity. As early as the day after Siegel’s death (or, as some sources have it, during Siegel’s death), however, more personal things were changing: Lansky walked into the Flamingo and took over operations.
Theories:
The mob is famously tight-lipped, and Siegel’s death was no exception. Despite the extensive speculation, no precise motive has ever been confirmed. There was a massive police investigation, but in a case like this, that doesn’t mean much, nor does the media coverage. The media in particular salivated over the potential for splashy crime stories, and the circumstances of this case have been complicated by contemporary coverage. Several days after Siegel’s death, for example, one newspaper ran the headline “BUGSY'S BLONDE EX-WIFE GIVES CLUES TO HIS KILLERS,” while another read “BUGSY'S EX NO AID IN HUNT.” As far as the most popular theories:
A Mob hit: A mob hit seems like the most obvious cause, and it's a theory that’s been popularized by several novels and the 1991 movie Bugsy. It would certainly make sense; it was the mob’s money Siegel had been spending wildly on his unsuccessful hotel after all, and he’d been growing uncooperative. Of the proposed hitmen, the most often mentioned are Frankie Carbo (Ralph Natale, former Philadelphia boss and Mob squealer, claimed Carbo as the true killer) and Eddie Cannizarro, both Syndicate hitmen. But even here, there are several proposed reasons for the hit. As some have it, mob money from the Flamingo’s funding was going missing and Siegel was skimming off the already meager profits. Skimming could have been forgiven, if the Flamingo was a success. It was not. After a meeting of the Syndicate’s “Board of Directors,” it was allegedly decided that Siegel would die, with Lansky reluctantly agreeing. Others believe that a hit might have been ordered whether Siegel was skimming or not; the Flamingo was simply too expensive. As one historian put it, “Bugsy was a dreamer. And he was dreaming with other people’s money.”
Yet many have also argued against this theory. According to one of Siegel’s emissaries in Vegas, for example, no one would have dared to order a hit on Siegel. He and Lansky were close until the end of their lives, and Lansky would never have agreed to it. And if Lansky would not agree, then Charles “Lucky” Luciano, who was “the head of everything,” would never have agreed either. And as others have argued, the method of execution (NSFW) didn’t match with typical mob methods; firing a weapon from outside a house increased the risk of missing as well as the risk of being seen. The preferred method was a clean shot to the back of the head. According to some, the oft-referenced money problems of the Flamingo also wasn’t an issue. At the time, Lansky was paying back any investor who wanted out, and the gradual uptick in its profits was quickening by the day. Personally, I don’t think the financial uptick invalidates the theory. If the hotel was starting to make more money, then that might be all the more reason to get rid of the difficult-to-manage Siegel and take over.
Wire Business: At the time of his death, Siegel was embroiled in a dispute with Jack Dragna, dubbed the Capone of Los Angeles. Siegel and Dragna had had an uneasy partnership in previous years, but Dragna, far less powerful than Siegel and the New York gangs, resented the income and respect Siegel commanded. This came to a head when a racing wire service (a way of cheating on bets) between the two of them soured. Siegel wanted control for himself, and ordered Dragna to turn it over or be killed, to which Dragna agreed. After Siegel’s death, control was returned to Dragna. He had a motive, but his story would only have been one among many for a man as ruthless as Siegel, which, in a way, complicates things further—there’s a real possibility that the culprit in Siegel’s murder was someone never even considered. His list of enemies was long, varied, and probably mostly unknown. Yet another man who had reason to want Siegel dead, for example, was his bodyguard and muscle Mickey Cohen. A Cleveland gangster, Cohen was given control of the Syndicate’s West Coast gambling operations. If Siegel still lived, he would never have gotten it. Interestingly, he, like Al Capone before him, was eventually felled by tax evasion.
Virginia and/or brother: The same emissary of Siegel who shot down the mob hit theory believed that Virginia Hill’s brother had carried out the murder. The brother, a marine stationed at Camp Pendleton named Bob or Bill, had seen Siegel and Virginia fighting outside the Flamingo as well as the bruises Siegel had left on her and threatened to kill him. Another of Virginia’s brothers, Chuck, was also at the Beverly Hills house when Siegel was murdered.
Virginia herself has also been the subject of suspicion. Nicknamed the “Queen of the Mob,” Hill worked, among other powerful jobs, as a cash courier, laundering money and stolen goods as well as blackmailing high-ranking men through sexual liaisons. Her relationship with Siegel was tempestuous at best, and she may have been embezzling from the Flamingo. She’s also been accused of two-timing with rival mob operations, though this is unconfirmed. Eventually fleeing to Europe permanently, Hill died of an overdose in 1966, though some have alleged that she was actually murdered after she, completely broke, attempted to leverage her intimate knowledge of the Mob.
Rival Mobs: Unfortunately, I can’t find much concrete information about this theory (note: story of my life researching these posts haha), but some believe that rival mob operatives wanted Siegel gone. He was a powerful—and very public—figure, which made him something of an obvious target in the cut-throat world of Mafia politics.
Moe Sedway: This is a relatively new theory, emerging after Robbie Sedway was interviewed for LA Magazine after his mother’s death. Here, he alleged that Siegel’s murder was ordered by his mother Bee, the wife of powerful mobster—and childhood friend of Siegel’s—Moe Sedway. According to Bee, who wrote and scrapped a book proposal called Bugsy's Little Lunatic (Siegel’s nickname for her), Siegel had threatened her husband, who was the Flamingo’s numbers man, and therefore watching Siegel—who, remember, had been accused of skimming—closely. So Bee contacted Mathew “Moose” Pandza, a truck driver whom Bee married after Moe’s death. Moose, the perfect killer, since he had no connection to the Mob, then shot Siegel to death. The problem with this theory, however, is that Bee is the only source; as she herself said, anyone who could contradict her was dead. She also squandered most of the fortune left to her by Moe over the course of her life, and died almost penniless.
All of the above: Some believe that almost all the suspects were involved. Usually, it goes something like this: “Virginia supplied the location and received some reward. Cohen knew Bugsy's schedule for the evening, but happened to not be watching him that night…Dragna ordered the hit, with the approval of Lansky and Luciano.” It’s unlikely, but it certainly has its believers, if only for the convenience of it.
Final Thoughts & Questions:
This case is interesting to me because of the sheer number of suspects. In the end, a mob hit seems the simplest and most likely explanation. But there were so many people with means, motive, and opportunity. So:

To many, Siegel’s legacy exceeds his mob connections, and in some ways, even his death; without him, many believe, there would be no Vegas. So if you take anything away from this write-up, let it be this: The Blue Man group’s Vegas residency is Bugsy Siegel’s fault.

Summary of AEW Angles and Storylines leading into Full Gear, with links to Video

Here is a relatively quick summary of the major angles leading into Full Gear. Links to AEW's Youtube, Twitter and Instagram with highlights and clips of what is going on. I'm including other angles that I feel might end up being relevant to Full Gear, but am not attempting to summarize everything.
The Buy In: Serena Deeb (NWA Women’s Champion) vs Allisyn Kay
Summary: Serena Deeb is a wrestling veteran, very skilled in the ring, who has just become the NWA champion, in addition to being an AEW wrestler. Allisyn Kay, a former NWA Champion, wants her old title belt back.
John Silver vs. Orange Cassidy
Summary: Orange Cassidy is a lazy wrestler who can go toe to toe with the best, if he bothers to try. John Silver, a member of the Dark Order, is a little bundle of hyperactive aggression. Orange Cassidy took on the leader of the Dark Order, Mr. Brodie Lee for the TNT championship. While Mr. Brodie Lee won, the Dark Order, and John Silver in particular, want to punish Cassidy for even trying in the first place.
This will be a pretty comedic match, by two people who are genuinely good in the ring.
TNT Title: Cody Rhodes (TNT Champion) vs. Darby Allin
Summary: Cody is the son of legendary wrestler Dusty Rhodes, a charming talker and face of the company. He is the TNT Champion. Darby Allin is a reckless daredevil. They have faced off often over the past year, with Cody barely managing to win every time. Will Darby finally win over Cody?
World Tag Team Titles: FTR (AEW Tag Team Champions) vs. The Young Bucks
Stipulation: If the Bucks lose, they can never challenge for the Tag Team belts again.
Summary: FTR are arrogant brawlers who say they're the best tag team in the world, and they have the AEW Tag Team titles to prove it. The Young Bucks are arrogant high-fliers who say they're the best tag team in the world. They've both been arguing over who is the best for years, and now finally get to prove it. Previously, FTR messed with the Young Bucks by manipulating Hangman Adam Page, taking the Bucks out of the last title match, and the Bucks are still upset about it.
Women's World Title: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Nyla Rose
Summary: Hikaru Shida is the AEW Women's champion, who had been doing an open challenge for her title. Nyla Rose is a bruiser of a beast, loving to slam women through tables. She's recently gotten Vickie Guererro as her manager. Nyla lost her world title to Shida earlier this year, and has been waiting for a rematch.
World Title Eliminator Tournament Final: Kenny Omega vs. Hangman Page
Summary: Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page until recently were tag team champions. Hangman's bad decisions lead to their defeat at the hands of FTR. Now Kenny wants to go back to being a singles star, and Adam Page feels abandoned and hurt. Can the sad drunken cowboy beat his former partner, one of the best wrestlers on the planet? Winner of this match gets a shot at the World Championship.
The saga of Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page is one of the best storylines in wrestling to date. The first chunk of it is summarized here, and the second chunk was summarized by me here.
I am not including the Being The Elite segments here too, even though Hangman has been doing some REALLY good work there, because they are really tied up with other plots and hard to summarize briefly.
Chris Jericho vs. MJF
Stipulation: If MJF wins, he can join The Inner Circle.
Summary: Chris Jericho is a raging egotistical rock star, and leads the villainous Inner Circle. MJF is a spoiled egotistical rich guy, with a massive bodyguard in Wardlow. MJF wants to join the Inner Circle, but has to beat Chris Jericho to prove he has what it takes.
Elite Deletion: Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara
Summary: Matt Hardy, a legend in the ring, has been trying to get Sammy Guevara to reach his full potential by leaving Chris Jericho's side. Sammy doesn't want an old man telling him what to do. They've been feuding for months now, with both of them getting injured along the way. It really needs to end.
This will be a cinematic match, filmed at the Hardy Compound.
AEW World Title "I Quit" Match: Jon Moxley (AEW Champion) vs. Eddie Kingston
Summary: Jon Moxley is a tough bastard, who spent years in the WWE, and beat Chris Jericho to become the AEW World Champion earlier this year. Eddie Kingston has been an indie wrestler for years, struggling to make ends meet before recently joining AEW. Eddie thinks Moxley is a sell out. Moxley thinks Eddie has become bitter and jealous. Once friends, now they're going to practically murder each other in the ring.
NOTE: The promos that both Moxley and Kingston are giving are PHENOMENAL.

DEATH CLOCK

DEATH CLOCK
I came home and found both my mother and father brutally murdered, hacked into pieces.
I was of course shocked and surprised, but I should not have been, after all today was 2020/11/24 and the clock was 19.30.
I was looking at our old family heirloom, an old clock that showed yeamonth/day and time, but not the current time.
Oh no, the death clock showed you the exact moment of your death.
I had never really believed in it, but my father had.
It had precited the exact time of death of my grandfather and grandmother, both dead in a car crash.
I had always suspected that my grandfather went insane with his obsession with the death clock and killed himself and my grand mother at the time it was predicted.
But now the clock was two for two.
And there was no way in hell that my father had murdered both mom and himself and after that hacked them both to pieces.
I walked over to the clock and pressed the button like my father had instructed me to all those years ago.
All the pointers began spinning around, quickly and a strange song began to play.
After a while all the pointers stopped and indicated a date and time. 2100/11/24 19:30.
Whooooa.
Another eighty years from now, I was only twenty years old at the time. I would live to be one hundred. The world was my oyster.
2025/11/24
I have been living large, gambling at casinos, doing tons of drugs knowing I would never overdose and die like so many friends I have lost in these short years. I started playing Russian roulette, you know two guys one six shoot revolver loaded with a single bullet, you take turns holding it against your own heads and pull the trigger to see which one of you will be the unlucky one to lose and shot your own head off.
Of course, it was never me.
Mob bosses started to take an interest in how lucky I was they wanted to learn how I cheated the systems.
But I could not teach them. I got a few punches in my face and then I agreed to do some dirty work for them.
This fit me like a hand in a glove.
Armed bank robbery shot outs with other gangs, I even worked as a hit man a few times.
2030/11/24
Another seventy years to live, I am working for the Renai`s one of the five crime families of Italian mobsters in New York.
We are settling the score with Don Mario Corleone an opposing crime boss, I think he might have been behind the murder of my parents. We already killed his brother Luigi.
Me and Johnny was ducking behind cover, but as usual I remembered I had no need to, I rushed out into the fire of shoots friendly and hostile both, none of them would graze me anyway.
I emptied my six shooter magnum revolver straight into the faces of six men, I was no great shot, never had been but at point blank range it was impossible to miss… well for me anyway.
Anyone trying to shoot me would somehow miss, have their weapon click like it was empty or even explode in their hands.
Johnny always told me I had the devils luck, as far as I was concerned he might be just right.
Johnny and the boys came running after me , the Corleones shot down half of my guys with fire from tommy guns, the famous machinegun used by old school gangsters and bank robbers.
Johnny walked to me covered in blood and guts and even some brain matter from his fallen friends.
I just stood there smoking a Cuban cigar, reloading my revolver with out a care in the world.
- Wow you really DO have the devils luck boy! Johnny told me.
- Yes, me and the boys never understood how you could just rush into enemy fire like that , and look at you now, standing here with half our boys dead without a care in the world, smoking like it is nothing to you. Some of the boys are saying you made a deal with a demon. Freckled Frankie told me.
I had to watch myself and not let anybody learn about the death clock, sometimes when I was out partying with girls I talked to much, when I was high and drunk. I had to kill a few just to make sure they did not talk. It was nothing girls come and go in the big apple. But I could not let Johnny or Renai find out.
Freckled Frankie sure as hell did NOT have they devils luck, a ginger bastard with red hair and freckles all around his face, born of a prostitute mother that had been found in the gutter, Frankie had not even went to her funeral. He was beaten everyday buy his alcoholic stepdad and beaten up even more in school.
If Frankie`s luck kept up with him, I have nothing to worry about he would be dead sooner or later and would have no chance to open his ugly mouth and yap about it.
We butchered every last one of Corleone`s men lost most of ours, but I did not give a fuck, having the devils luck makes one a bit narcissistic and nihilistic I suppose.
It was me Johnny, Frankie and Mario Corleone for the final showdown.
Corleone took out a revolver and shot straight at my head, somehow it swerved and went into Frankie`s left eye instead instantly killing him. Takes care about that problem I thought to myself.
Mario wanted to try again, and this time the revolver exploded in my hand. Me and Johnny spent the next few hours cutting of his body parts, fingers, toes, feet, legs, hands and arms.
We asked repeatedly who killed my parents.
Always the same answer, Renai. That fucking big nose motherfucker. I would fuck him up really good.
I putted Corleone out of his misery. Bullet through the brain.
2031/11/24
Spent on year investigating, got to make sure before final confrontation.
All the evidence pointed to him, Mister Alfredo Renai, the big nose mobster, my boss was responsible for my parents murders.
It went just like last time, Johnny cut him up and Renai admitted, my parents owed him money, so he had a hit man sent for them. Johnny threw Renai out of the penthouse window on the top floor of a skyscraper, not much was left of Renai after he hit the pavement, he now looked like the meat he liked to eat with his spaghetti.
-Nice work! I told Johnny and I took over as the next crime boss.
Sure some guys did not like it and tried to kill me, but they had no success, and I let Johnny cut them up, burn them, hang em high, drown them or whatever he could come up with.
I only wished he did not kill big nose Renai so soon, I wanted to know the name of the hitman he had sent to kill my parents off.
We payed the cops of like we always did for the murders.
The never came looking my boys up.
The next few years a bloody gang war broke out in the city, tons of shootings and explosion and murder.
But I still had the devils’ luck.
2040/11/24
I was now ruler of the ONLY crime family in New York.
All opposition had been wiped out. I had another sixty years to live. Sometimes I wondered if I should use my power for good.
Like superman, spiderman or batman.
It was a funny and strange thought.
I guess it was to late for that anyway.
Johnny came into my office with a smile on his face.
-I found your parents killer!
-Really, who was it?
-Me of course you dumb fuck, he punched my face with brass knuckles, crushing my nose.
I pulled up my revolver and tried to shot his face of, but it exploded in my hand leaving me with no fingers.
-Ha,ha I used your stupid clock at your parents’ house you can’t kill me.
Oh no. This was not good. I must have talked to much again
And now he knew.
-Well, maybe I cannot kill you, but you can’t kill me either. I punched him with my left fist.
-Oh, believe me I don’t intend to. He broke my left arm. Then cut my tongue out, chopped of my tongue, dick and balls, ears, nose, legs, arms and cut out my eyes.
I was now limbless, blind and almost def. He threw me out of the window.
2041/11/24
Johnny is visiting the hospital as he those every day, he pays to keep my alive, the nurses and doctors want to pull my plug, but unfortunately I know they never will, I got fifty nine years left after all. The doctors and nurses think I am just a vegetable but I am aware somehow Johnny seems to know this.
He comes here everyday to tell me about the women he had sex with, he wish he could show me but sadly I am blind, he tells me about my old friends and how he has found them and murdered them, about my old girlfriends how he fucked them and raped them, beaten them, killed them. And I can do nothing about it.
Sometimes he plays recordings so I can hear them scream.
He tells me he will live for another sixty years. He knows I have fifty-nine years so he can come here everyday for the rest of my so called life to torment me, fifty nine years.
He laughs at how stupid I was, the clock just shows you that you cannot die but you CAN get hurt.
I wish I could scream but I have no tongue, no voice.
And I am going to be like this for another fifty-nine years.

Booking an AEW V.S Impact Wrestling PPV (Part 2)

Part 1
Inter-promotional Casino Battle Royale
Build: Well, a bunch of people from AEW and a bunch of people from Impact Wrestling want a pay day and decide to kick the living and dead crap out of each other for a win. Winner contends for the World Title of their promotions. Rules are as followed.
1 entire suit will start the match (that being 13 individuals). After 3 minutes, the next suit will enter 10 seconds between each other. After the last person of that suit enters, there will be another 3 minute period before the next suit. After all four suits have entered the match and the last 3 minute interval has run out, the man who drew the joker card will enter the match. The winner is the last man standing in the ring.
Match: The match starts with the heart suits in the ring. To start the match, there is Orange Cassidy, Heath, Alex Reynolds, Rhino, Christopher Daniels, Ricky Starks, Ace Austin, Sonny Kiss, Luster The Legend, Angelico, Colt Cabana, Eddie Edwards and Matt Hardy. Bell sounds and all hell breaks loose. There are no brand alliances; it’s simply non-covid safe insanity full of bodies that are out for blood and gold. In a massive shocker, the first man eliminated is Matt Hardy by Colt Cabana and Alex Reynolds of Dark Order. This is followed by Luster The Legend trying to eliminate both men, unsuccessfully. Both men take it upon themselves to eliminate Luster from the match. Orange Cassidy just stands in the middle of the ring as the chaos clouds around him. Eddie Edwards gets an elimination of Sonny Kiss and Angelico is quick succession. Heath and Rhino get stuck into Dark Order, Edwards starts fighting with Ricky Starks and Christopher Daniels takes issue with Ace Austin all while Cassidy watches the insanity around him.
Next suits are about to enter the match. The spades. First, Dustin Rhodes. Followed by Brian Myers, Lance Archer, Crazzy Steve, Austin Gunn, Isiah Kassidy, Alex Shelley, Jake Hager, Chris Sabin, Sammy Guevara, John Silver, Swoggle, and Frankie Kazarian. Jake Hager makes his target Orange Cassidy, trying to take out the easiest person possible. Cassidy doesn’t take kindly to this, so as Hager tries to powerbomb him out of the match, Orange delivers a hurrincanrana to eliminate Hager. However, as he dangles off the side, he’s superkicked off the apron and eliminated by Sammy Guevara. In the meantime, Silver, Reynolds and Cabana start teaming up to take out all those they believe are a threat. They try their luck with Lance Archer, trying to take out the much larger opponent. Lance, however, overpowers them, delivering a double slam to Silver and Reynolds before eliminating Cabana. SCU’s Daniels and Kazarian face off with The Motor City Machine Guns. Before long, both teams are honing in shots on the other. This is interrupted by Ricky Starks with a steel chair in hand. He’s not here for nostalgia. He’s here for the win. After laying out both tag teams, this is followed by Dustin Rhodes hitting Starks with a curtain call cutter, which is followed by Guevara getting a cheap elimination of Dustin when he’s back is turned. Archer turns his attention to Rhino and Heath. He gets a hell of a lot of offence in on both men before finally throwing them both out of the match. Swoggle runs over the attack Lance, but Archer simply picks up Swoggle and throws him into Rhino and Heath. This is followed by elimination of Ace Austin, Brian Myers, Crazzy Steve, Isiah Kassidy and Austin Gunn again at the hands of Lance Archer. 8 eliminations at the hands of Lance Archer and he finally hits the roadblock of his path of destruction, Eddie Edwards. Lance laughs, runs in but Eddie gets a Boston Knee Party that takes Archer off his feet. As Eddie Edwards tries to get Archer up for an elimination, Silver and Reynolds make their way over to help, being taken out by Archer only a little bit earlier. With all their strength, Lance Archer is eliminated by the three men.
The next suit is about to enter. The clubs. Which produces The Butcher, Willie Mack, Powerhouse Hobbs, Johnny Swinger, “Hangman” Adam Page, Miro, Hernandez, Rey Fenix, Larry D, Brandon Cutler, Jon Moxley, Acey Romero and MJF. As the new group make themselves comfortable in the match, MCMG and SCU call a truce and make it their mission to take out Ricky Starks and then settle things between themselves. However, with the added addition of Hobbs, it makes the elimination of Starks very tricky. For starters, Hobbs eliminates Shelley and Sabin and Ricky Starks eliminates Kazarian from the Royale. Daniels is now trapped between a rock and a hard place. When he gets help from Jon Moxley, who has had his own issue with Team Taz in the past. Nailing a paradigm shift onto Starks before being run down by Hobbs. This is where Willie Mack steps up to the Powerhouse and both freakish athletes start to try and one up each other with their offence to the point where they’re actively on the ropes trying to strangle the other over. This leads to a near shocking moment where John Silver grabs the legs of both men, flipping them both over the rope but not quite eliminating them. However, the size and speed of Acey Romero changes that real quick. He charges over and crashes into both men, eliminating them in the process. MJF and Sammy begrudgingly work together to try and thin the field out, eliminating the likes of Johnny Swinger, Brandon Cutler and Larry D before having an implosion leading to both men getting into a brawl leading the both men fall over the top rope and fighting on the apron. Acey Romero is gotten with a boot to the gut Jon Moxley, leaning him over, allowing Adam Page to jump over him to hit an Acey Romero assisted Buckshot lariat onto Sammy and Maxwell to eliminate them from the match. Miro and Moxley make amends and muscles the mountain Romero out of the match in a macho manner before making a massacre of the other man (that was a fun sentence to write). As Starks comes to, Daniels is there to attempt an elimination. This is blocked by Hernandez, who throws Daniels out over the top rope and to the floor below. Starks looks grateful of Hernandez help… but he’s simply the next victim to Hernandez, who throws him out right afterwards. The final sight before the next suit entry is Fenix and Butcher fighting, Moxley and Miro fighting, and Edwards, Page, Silver and Reynolds taking it to Hernandez
The final suit. The Diamonds. Eddie Kingston goes straight for Rey Fenix. This is followed by Pac, Chris Bey, Brian Pillman Jr, Wardlow, Eric Young, Marc Quen, Scorpio Sky, Kaleb with a K, The Blade, Penta El Zero Meido, Matt Sydal and Tommy Dreamer. Kingston, Butcher and Blade throw hands with Death Triangle in revamp of their feud from earlier in the year. Meanwhile, with great success, Eddie, Adam, Alex and John take out Hernandez. Moxley gets the elimination of Miro out of the way and gets some breathing room. Wardlow starts to clean house. Taking out the likes of Pillman, Quen, Sydal and Kaleb from the contest. Dreamer tries to to slow the momentum of Wardlow down but his strength is too much for Dreamer to handle and an F-10 to the outside seals the deal of Tommy’s elimination. Chris Bey takes shots at Eddie Edwards, trying to take out one of the longest lasting competitors in the match and though he almost gets him out, Eddie is just too fast for Bey and its Chris who gets eliminated instead. A mass elimination of talent occurs when Butcher, Blade, Fenix, Meido and Pac are eliminated in massive spot from Kingston to take the matter out. Dark Order take it to Wardlow, with Silver and Reynolds tipping Wardlow to the ring apron and Hangman delivering a lariat to take him down. In a shocker, Eddie delivers a Boston Knee party to Jon Moxley and eliminates him from the contest all before the Joker entry comes out.
Marty Scurll. So, the final 8 are, Alex Reynolds, Eddie Edwards, John Silver, Adam Page, Eddie Kingston, Eric Young, Scorpio Sky and Marty Scurll. First to go is Eric young at the hands of Eddie Edwards as payback for taking his Impact World Championship. Next, John Silver and Alex Reynolds are taken out by Scurll after miscommunication with Adam Page lead to their elimination. Scorpio Sky manages to get an upper hand on Eddie Kingston and throws him out of the ring. This is followed by a quick elimination by Hangman. Scurll goes behind and eliminates Hangman from the contest as well. So, we are down to 2. Eddie Edwards and Marty Scurll. Winner contends for the promotions world championship. This is an all out war that really comes down to the wire in the end. Marty Scurll is taken to the ring Apron and as Eddie goes for a Boston Knee Party, Marty catches him with a cross-face chicken, dragging Eddie over the rope and to the floor below. Marty Scurll wins the Casino Battle Royale.

Daily Skins Review - S6 E3 “Alex”

After the unfortunate death of Grace, we move on to the next episode, three, titled “Alex”. Now, I obviously know who Alex is, but at the time he just kinda came out of nowhere, so let’s see what this new character has to offer. Last time they did this it was Sketch, which was a fucking shambles. Let’s go.
The camera pans across to an alarm as we see a map and some sailing paraphernalia as some dodgy music starts playing (perfect opportunity to use Fisherman’s Blues but whatever). Some bloke (Alex) then counts down the seconds before his alarm goes off and then hops up and gets dressed. He picks up a list with 6 numbers and some writing written on it and he also picks up a die. Alex then takes some breakfast to a woman who I assume is his grandmother and then gets a call from his dad who asks him if he’s ready to move house the next week. Alex’s grandmother makes a rather disrespectful gesture at the sound of Alex’s dad’s voice, who mentions that she’s being put in a home soon. She then calls him a “silly old twat” when he hangs up (wow, how she gonna do her own son like that?) and asks if he even wished Alex any luck. She tells him he doesn’t need it anyway and Alex is next seen messing about with his die and list at a bus stop. Alex is next seen being shown around Roundview by Doug, who tells him that his father changed some of his subjects around (what a silly old twat). Alex is introduced to his class, which Liv, Mini, Alo and Nick are also in and we find out that Doug is now the head teacher (finally, the real MVP is leading the line). Alex messes about with his die again as he and Liv share a glance. He sits in the canteen and notices Grace’s memorial, while also looking at Liv as she pours some vodka into her drink (just casually in the middle of a school I might add). He catches her eye and they smirk at each other (fuck me, first Rider, then Matty and now Alex. Liv does love a proper impromptu relationship). Alex takes out his list of six options (which I’m not gonna type out, but they’re all a bit odd) and rolls his die. He lands a two, which is “punch the next person to walk in”, who just happens to be young Alo Creevey. He’s arguing with Nick, who’s complaining that he’s partners with Rich for some project, but he’s obviously not in for the foreseeable future. Alex then gets up and fucking sparks Alo out of it in front of everyone before helping him up, apologising and telling him it’s “only numbers” as he walks off. Liv seems impressed (didn’t realise she liked some good old assault).
We then see Liv at her locker, who approaches Mini and confronts her about avoiding her lately because she doesn’t want to talk about Grace, which Mini denies. Mini gets upset and storms off, the lurking Alex in the background viewing the whole thing. Liv notices him and asks him what his deal is and why he socked poor Alo. He then gives this whole “numbers” thing (which I get is supposed to be a quirk of some sort, but it’s really cringeworthy to me). He then demonstrates, rolling a three and then kissing Liv. She reciprocates...by slapping him. She then sort of smiles and they introduce themselves to each other. And then she’s walking to his house (like I said, it doesn’t take much to convince old Liv to do anything). Alex then finds his Gran in a closet and introduces her to Liv. She tells Liv she “likes to colour” of her and they share a laugh. Alex then serves then beans on toast (good bit a food that) and Alex’s Gran does some reminiscing. However, things go south when she starts talking about being put in a home and about Alex’s dad. As he sees Liv out, she invites him to the pub, Alex telling her he might come. Alex then reads to his Gran and ignores a call from his dad. He arrives at the pub (despite not knowing what time they were going at) and sees the gang minus Rich (and Matty and Grace obviously) looking rather dejected. He goes over and asks if any of them want a shot (Alo getting confused and thinking Alex is offering him out). As Alex goes to get drinks, Alo complains about him and Mini tells Liv they don’t need any new friends (honestly, the way characters treat each other in this show, it’s hard to believe they’re friends at all). Nick comes up beside Alex at the bar and he asks Nick what Grace was like, Nick telling Alex he’s alright but just to “leave that alone” (yeah, why is Alex such a nosy twat?). Liv introduces them all to Alex, Mini quickly downing her shots before going for a dance with some prat. Alex notes Alo’s annoyance at Mini’s behaviour as he points out that they’re all “a little on edge” (I don’t really think Angie’s psychology class would be needed to spot that to be honest Alex). Alo then gets up to dance, nobody joining in, Nick telling him that’s gay (this show would be cancelled today just for that joke alone). Alex then gets a phone call and goes outside as Nick agrees to dance with Alo. Being the only two alone, Franky and Liv gaze at each other, not speaking. Alex has another angry phone call with his twat of a father and then goes to some shady casino with Liv. After an intense poker game with a load of Asians which ends in an Alex victory, one of the players goes mental and accuses Alex of being a “fucking cheat”. Alex then invites the man for a game of heads and tails for the money, daring the man to choose tails, which he does. He flips the coin to the man, which lands on heads. Liv collects the money and Alex shakes the man’s hand and they start to walk away. However, the man discovers that Alex used a double sided coin and he and Liv have to leg it. Alex then has to go back to his Gran and gives Liv some of the money. He kisses her cheek before she heads off. He then takes out his phone, goes on some gay dating app and hooks up with some man (well, that came out of nowhere). Alex gets offended when his fling offers him some money, Alex exclaiming that he’s “not a rent boy” before ripping up the money, kissing the man’s cheek and leaving.
Alex does his countdown before alarm nonsense again before caring for his grandmother and ignoring his father. We then see him in school as Liv approaches and he rolls his die again. He lands a one so he and Liv break into someone’s house. The house they’re in is messy with porn magazines scattered around (Sid’s house maybe?). To mess with the guy, they clean up, leaving his room spotless. Liv starts making a move on Alex, who starts to explain something to her (likely that he’s gay) but they have to run when the man (who’s not Sid unfortunately) comes home. They head back to his but Alex finds his dad at home. They have an icy exchange, Alex wanting not wanting to put his grandmother in a home and offering to look after her. He leaves and tells Alex he’ll be back later. We then have a nice scene as Alex dances with his grandmother, Liv joining in. We then see Alex at college, introducing Nick to the concept of the die. Nick starts reading off his list which involves outcomes such as hanging himself and getting into heroin (that might’ve been the best tragic humour this show has done). Alex tells him to starts smaller and they start to make a new list until they’re interrupted by some bloke who’s making an announcement (he’s literally the biggest Percy Weasely I’ve ever seen). He announces they’re having a memorial service for Grace, his manner proving to be off putting for Liv, Nick, Alo and Mini who don’t want to go. However, things turn sour when Mini accuses Liv of trying to speak for all of them, causing Liv to get upset. Alex goes after her and finds her crying. He consoles her and Liv kisses him. However, just as Mini approaches to, Alex reveals to Liv that he’s gay (which shouldn’t be surprising considering each generation needs a gay character. This wouldn’t be Skins otherwise). She calls him a headfuck (I can’t stress enough how overused that word is in this generation) and accuses him of being spineless. She gets angry with him as Mini reveals herself and piles on, Alex leaving. Liv then tells Mini to do one. Alex sprints out of the school and back home. He calls his grandmother, finding her in bed, her eyes shut. He looks at her bedside locker, picking up the empty pill bottle that was lying on its side. Alex takes the picture of the boat that was in her hand, kissing her head as he starts to cry. We then see Liv at Grace’s memorial, stony faced among the tearful crowd. Percy Weasely whips out a keyboard and him and some other girl sing, to Liv’s disgust. Mini and Franky join her and they look on at the distasteful glorifying of Grace’s death. Franky marches up and pulls at Percy’s keyboard, insulting him (wait, there might be enough time for redemption for Franky...). Liv joins and smashes his keyboard and then flashes the crowd (...Liv. Why’d you do that?). She runs off crying and gets a phone call from Alex, who’s watching her from afar. He apologises and offers to help her. “With everything”.
A blue van pulls up near the sea (or just some stretch of water at Bristol. My UK geographical knowledge isn’t amazing, but isn’t Bristol coastal? Like near Wales and that?). The gang (minus Rich of course) get out and we see a man loading stuff onto a boat. Alex stands aboard and they all sail out. They have a drug fuelled party out at sea. When Liv asks Alex if he stole the boat (yes Liv, I forgot how simple it is to steal a whole fucking boat) but he says he rented it because he thought they all needed it. When Liv questions his motives as he didn’t know Grace, he tells her he “needs a friend right now” and then motions at Mini, telling Liv that “so does she”. As Liv and Mini try and fail to reconcile, Mini sits down on something. She then becomes curious to what it is, freaking out when she finds Alex’s grandmother’s body resting inside. The gang then question Alex’s decision to bring a dead body to their boat party (which is understandable. Alex is alright but he could definitely be the type to murder them all and sink the boat). He goes on to explain that he wants them to help him bury his grandmother at sea. Before they dump her in the water, he reads from that sailor diary, the gang crying about Grace, before they throw her on the water, the casket floating for a few moments before Alex does some weird finger gun shit, counts to down from three, then shoots the casket, it sinking on his cue. Franky then rings Matty, going to voicemail, then telling him it’s her and “don’t ever come back”. Liv and Alex agree to be mates and Alex does another die roll, rolling a six, “Always run away”. So they both jump in. Liv throws the die and they both swim after it.
Okay, new character introduced. And he’s actually pretty good. Obviously he’s a bit overly enigmatic and is definitely not a realistic teenager, but he’s got a pretty good story and just made the season more interesting and brought it back to life. I know this episode was a bit bleak, but Alex’s pretty ridiculous ongoings in this episode really shadowed the entertaining stories that we saw in Gen One and Two. He was a real breath of fresh air, as was this episode in general. Anyway, take note of: - Character of Alex - Fractured morale among the group - Gang somewhat coming to terms with Grace’s death - Franky’s voicemail to Matty - Alo and Mini’s romantic tension
So yea, that was a refreshing episode. It might’ve been a bit over the top, but Alex was the kind of character needed to keep this generation interesting and to add something new. And the overall plot of this one was quite good for all the characters.
Overall Rating: 8/10

A-Show Stories! AEW Double or Nothing 2019

Double or Nothing
May 25, 2019
Las Vegas, NV
MGM Grand Garden Arena
In January 2019, All Elite Wrestling was announced as a brand-new alternative wrestling organization, the first with a major money backer in many years. I think one of the commendable things about AEW was the nearly year-long roll out of the promotion. Rather than jumping right in the action with a weekly show, AEW planned a serious of major events over the summer to advertise their product to networks, starting with Double or Nothing, a clear reference to the independent supershow All In.
As many of you are aware, I’m not a fan who was disenfranchised by WWE, but I’m always welcoming of new wrestling promotions. I’m glad they released these events on DVD because I’m a proponent of physical media.
The main event featured a rematch from the 2019 Wrestle Kingdom in Japan, the first rematch between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. The winner would face “Hangman” Adam Page, who won the Casino Battle Royal in the preshow, to determine the first AEW World Champion. Jericho had a cool entrance featuring an homage to some of his personas over the years. Omega’s entrance was almost subdued, and I think that word is most appropriate for this match, subdued. This is a good match but it’s missing the energy from earlier in the show, and I think that’s in part because the crowd was a bit burnt out from jumping up and down for the previous hour and a half. Jericho countered the One Winged Angel with a DDT and then hit Omega with the Judas Effect out of nowhere for the win. This was a good match but completely overshadowed by the aftermath, with the former Dean Ambrose, now rechristened Jon Moxley, emerging from the crowd and making his mark by taking down Jericho with the Paradigm Shift, giving the same to the referee and Omega as well.
I think the most anticipated match on this show was the battle of brothers, Cody Rhodes against his elder brother Dustin Rhodes. For a variety of reasons, there was no way this match was going to happen in WWE, at least not in the way that these two wanted. This was their opportunity to demonstrate why they wanted the match so badly. The match turns a corner when Dustin gets busted open after landing head-first on an exposed turnbuckle. Dustin popped a gusher and Cody gets increasingly vicious, targeting shots right to Dustin’s cut, and the fact that it’s Dustin’s brother that is being as remorseless as he is sells it more. It’s the kind of feud that the old school NWA was founded on, personal, bloody issues, and Dustin and Cody demonstrate they learned from their father’s work well. This is also the kind of work that is missing in many matches nowadays, work that is focused less on athleticism and more on story and drama. There are a few big moves in this match, such as a superplex, but you get the impression that both guys are doing moves trying to win the match and achieve superiority in a battle of wills, rather than doing moves to get a star rating. This is a great bloody fight and an excellent tribute to southern wrestling. Cody drops Dustin with the Cross Rhodes to win the match. My one criticism of this match would be Cody’s character work. He came to the ring to the adoration of the crowd and really played up to them. He then spent the match being a complete dick to his brother, busting him open, cheating, deliberately going after Dustin’s cut to make him bleed more. Then, after the match, he has a tearful hug with Dustin. It makes him look duplicitous, but as of yet there has been no payoff to that duplicity.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) defended the AAA World Tag Team Championship against The Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Zero and Rey Fenix. The Bucks are excellent at what they do but I can understand why they are polarizing. Their matches go a mile a minute and they can be desensitizing. This is fast with a lot of great spots, almost too many to list because the Bucks just have those kinds of matches. It was mentioned that this was the first match the Bucks had participated in in almost two months, so the fact that they work so fluidly with the Lucha Bros says something. The Bucks won a great match with the Meltzer Driver.
This was an excellent show and an obvious watershed moment in wrestling history. All three main events delivered in a big way and the undercard was solid.

[Live] AEW Double or Nothing 2020 PPV Discussion - May 23, 2020 (Elite vs. Inner Circle, Cody vs. Archer, and Moxley vs. Brodie Lee )

Elite face off against the Inner Circle at the 50 Yard Line of the Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium
After a wild shutdown that caused the cancellation of all events including the long awaited Blood & Guts, many stories and rivalries were put on ice. But as soon as they were able to start fighting again, the Elite and Inner Circle got right back to it whether they have a double cage to contain it or not. Instead they have a stadium. Jon Moxley got a reprieve from his fight with the inner circle due to the delays and lack of matches but before he could breathe a sigh of relief, the newly arrived Exalted One Mr. Brodie Lee and the Dark Order took advantage of the chaos to attack him and steal his title leading to the fight at tonight's PPV for that very title. Lastly, the often times gross and always violent feud between Lance Archer and his manager Jake Roberts continues as both men have climbed to the finals of the tournament to crown the first ever TNT Champion.
